"Bitter Rivals and Broken Bonds"As Naruto and Sasuke are about to clash, Kakashi Hatake appears and deflects them into differing water towers. Admiring the damage his attack has done to his water tower, Sasuke believes himself to be stronger than Naruto. On closer inspection, he finds Naruto's tower to be considerably worse off (Sasuke made an inward puncture in his tower, but while Naruto's tower may look like it just has a dent in the front, he actually blew a giant hole in the back of it basically rendering the tank half destroyed.), and only comes to envy Naruto's strength more. Kakashi takes Sasuke aside and lectures him about not attacking friends. Sasuke said if anyone get killed who means something to him maybe he listen, Kakashi then tells him that he is too late to test it out, because they're all already dead. Kakashi tells Sasuke that Revenge will not truly bring happiness to him and is the wrong answer and leaves him, trusting he will not choose vengence. Meanwhile, Sakura asks Naruto on a date that he he asked her a long time ago when they were first assinged to Team 7. While Sasuke debates on whether to stay with the village or take revenge on Itachi, the Sound Four arrive and introduce themselves. Sasuke briefly does battle with them but it turns out that they are more than a match for him.
